Can I use liquid foundation such as a store brand and blend it with airbrush foundation to airbrush makeup?

Most of the airbrush foundations that I've tried are all very drying. Has anyone ever tried adding their own favorite foundation (Maybelline, Revlon...etc) with some airbrush foundation and used that to airbrush on with the spray gun?
