My airbrush gun is clean and blowing air but will not draw liquid through the chamber?

I use a Iwata studio series power jet lite that I use for airbrush tanning. The compressor is fine, the gun has been cleaned and re-assembled and will blow air but is not drawing the tanning solution through. What could the problem be? There are no clogs, everything's clean, and it's fresh solution. Thanks!
